When your phone first connects to a network in a covered country, not when you buy or install it.
How long do I have to start using it?
You have 180 days from purchase to install it and start using it. Your plan days only start counting when it first connects to a network.

Europe plans cover 33 countries, including the UK, Switzerland and Norway. Europe + Turkey adds Turkey and Ukraine. Each plan page lists every country and network.
